Solar System by Oddmachine Solar System by Oddmachine
English

Far away this is the most complex image that I could try. It is the solar system, but every planet as a girl.

Just some points for references:

1- I tried to use the colors as possible as the original planets. I did not want to color them randomly.

2- The sun has freckles, this is for interpretate the sunspots.

3- Earth Planet was the most difficult, try to interpretate all our planet in that girl was really difficult. Her sleeves represents the ground and her hair is made of clouds.

4-Jupiter has a black eye, I made this because Jupiter receive an impact of a asteroid in 2009 that make a hole of 8000 kilometers in it surface. That is a reference. XD

An image that Maniacpaint made for Xanafar as a request. I obtein the permiss rom both artistes

The Sun is much better than in the original.

I find myself wondering why some of the symbols were chosen, though. I've seen the alternate  symbol for Uranus before, but that Pluto one is new to me. And since Pluto was included, it's a pity Ceres wasn't, considering that it has an official symbol, and I bet she would've been cool. Oh, well. Nothing you can do about it, anyway. Nice job.

I wonder what the asteroid fields would like, i know you were just using planets, but the concept still intrigues me

But Still. Besides Who Get's To Say What Is And Is Not A Planet Anyway? They Used To Call Pluto A Planet But Then Said It's "Too Small" To Be One.>_<

if it is about moons, I must include like 9 moons for jupiter and that is not obvious. It is just an example about planets.

The scientist in me compels me to say that: 1. Pluto is no longer classified as a planet and 2. Jupiter is made of gas, so it can't get craters - they would fill up immediately. The drawing is great, however.

On a second glance, it looks like pluto is leaving the others, so I think you got #1 covered :)

In Jupiter's case, Oddmachine may be referring to when the comet Shoemaker Levy 9, which plowed into Jupiter after splitting into 21 pieces and left a few 'bruises' on the surface.
